When shadows fall

And hearts are torn

When grief arrives

So deeply worn

Know this truth

Though pain may swell

Your child rests now

Where angels dwell

The questions rise

The answers hide

A storm of sorrow

A raging tide

Yet in the silence

Hear his voice

A whisper soft:

"In me, rejoice."

For though the world

Feels cold, unkind,

God's love enfolds

His grace you'll find

He weeps with you

He knows your pain

And promises joy

Will come again

Your child

Now free from earthly strife

Walks in the light

Of eternal life

In heaven's embrace

They're whole, renewed

Their spirit bathed

In loves pure hue

So hold to faith

Though tears may stream

For God will heal

Redeem the dream

And one sweet day

Beyond the skies

You'll reunite

Where love never dies
