I lost my baby boy—

a star now dimmed by night,

Grief’s weight untold

as I chase a fragile light.

Each echo of your laugh

haunts my shattered day;

In silent prayers,

I beg the pain to stray.

I tread with care—

one breath,

one measured stride,

Carrying fierce memories

while hope abides.

The sorrow lingers deep,

a wound that never sleeps,

Yet small steps mend

the map my aching heart keeps.

I whisper pleas to skies

that hear my art,

Tracing tender grief engraved

within my heart.

I walk this path of loss,

a lone,

unyielding march,

One foot ahead

beneath a somber,

midnight arch.

At dawn,

amid the quiet,

your light refuses to depart—

A stubborn ember burning

in the depths of my heart.

Though no parent should

bear a grief so stark and dark,

I hold you close in

every step,

my love,

my guide,

my right.
